1. Introduction

RapidMed helps you keep an emergency health profile and share it with a QR code. This page explains what information we collect, why we use it, and what choices you have.

2. Information We Collect

  • • Your account details, like your name, email, and password.
  • • Health information you add, such as blood type, allergies, medicines, conditions, notes, emergency contacts, height, weight, and insurance details.
  • • Health readings and records you save over time.
  • • Medical files you choose to connect through Google Drive, if you use that feature.
  • • Basic security and access logs to help us keep accounts safe.
  • • Approximate or precise location only when you allow it during QR scanning flows or while viewing the emergency profile's nearby hospital feature.
  • • Your privacy and visibility settings.
  • • If you apply for PWD verification: your PWD ID number, submitted name, disability type, front and back ID images, review status, rejection reason if any, approval date, expiry date, and your PWD visibility choices.
  • • If you apply for healthcare professional verification: your submitted first name, last name, profession, birth date, license number, front and back license images, review status, rejection reason if any, approval date, and expiry date.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • • To create and run your RapidMed account.
  • • To show your emergency profile based on the privacy settings you choose.
  • • To find nearby hospitals only when you grant location permission while using the emergency profile or related scanning flows.
  • • To support optional features like Google Drive, QR sharing, and ads.
  • • To send login, security, and account-related emails.
  • • To review PWD verification requests and email you updates about them.
  • • To review healthcare professional verification requests and email you updates about them.
  • • To protect the service and reduce misuse.

4. Sharing and Visibility

We do not sell your personal information. People can only see what you allow them to see. You control which parts of your emergency profile are visible to the public, family, or verified professionals. If your PWD verification is approved, you can also choose where to show your PWD details. If your PWD approval expires, those PWD details stop showing until you renew and it is approved again. Healthcare professional verification is used only for review and account verification inside RapidMed.

5. PWD Verification

If you apply for PWD verification, we use the information and images you submit only for review and approval. We may email you when your request is received, approved, rejected, or renewed. Once your request is reviewed, we delete the uploaded PWD ID images from our database. We may still keep basic review details such as your PWD number, disability type, status, reason for rejection, and validity dates.

6. Healthcare Professional Verification

If you apply for healthcare professional verification, we use the information and images you submit only for review and approval. We may email you when your request is received, approved, rejected, or renewed. Once your request is reviewed, we delete the uploaded license images from our database. We may still keep basic review details such as your name, profession, license number, status, reason for rejection, and validity dates.

7. Google Drive

If you connect Google Drive, RapidMed can create a folder, upload files you choose, and remove them when you ask. Your documents stay in your Google account. Google has its own policies, so please also review Google's privacy terms.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information. No online service is perfect, but we work to keep your data as safe as we can.

9. Ads and Sponsored Content

RapidMed may show sponsored banners or Google-served ads in some parts of the service. We may measure basic ad activity such as views, clicks, age range, and gender in summary form to understand ad performance. We do not sell your personal medical information to advertisers, and we do not share your private profile details with them.

10. Your Choices

You can update your profile, change privacy settings, manage QR access, control where approved PWD details appear, or request account deletion. If you delete your account, we also remove your PWD and healthcare professional records tied to that account, including any pending verification images. Learn more about account deletion.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version here.
