About
Why RapidMed exists
RapidMed is a web-based emergency medical profile designed to help people make critical health information easier to access when every minute matters.
Last updated: April 10, 2026
What RapidMed does
RapidMed lets a user build an emergency medical profile and link it to a QR code. When the QR code is scanned, the person viewing it can access the information the user decided to share, without needing a special scanner app.
The goal is to reduce friction in emergencies by making allergies, medications, conditions, contacts, and other important details easier to reach from a phone browser.
Who RapidMed is for
- People who want a digital emergency profile they can update over time.
- Families and caregivers who need a faster way to reference important health information.
- People managing allergies, chronic conditions, medications, or mobility-related needs.
- First responders and healthcare professionals who need quick context during urgent situations.
What makes the product useful
Many people carry important medical details in paper notes, locked phones, chat threads, or memory. Those methods often fail when the user is under stress, unconscious, or unable to speak clearly.
RapidMed focuses on simple web access, QR sharing, and privacy controls so the profile can be both practical and user-managed.
Privacy and control
RapidMed is built around the idea that not every detail should be visible to everyone. Users can choose what is shared publicly, what is reserved for family, and what is limited to verified professionals where supported.
That means the service is not just about speed. It is also about giving users more control over how emergency information is presented.
Current focus
RapidMed is currently focused on making emergency medical information easier to store, share, and maintain in the Philippines.
The long-term direction includes stronger trust, clearer access controls, and better support for real-world emergency workflows.
